The goal of La Cervara Cultura is to promote the “La Cervara – Abbey of San Girolamo at Portofino Mountain” monument complex and to make the most of this exceptional treasure chest of History, Nature and Art, which is becoming established as an important cultural centre. La Cervara Cultura is a focal point for enhancing and promoting the cultural resources and activities at the Abbey in cooperation with local, national and international bodies. The primary goal is to restore the complex to its original architectural, social and cultural splendour. To this end, La Cervara Cultura can host major cultural events at the Monastery, such as concerts, round tables, seminars, exhibits and other interesting affairs whose purpose is to increase knowledge of Beauty, History, and the Arts in all their forms.
